A free morning, so of course Peter had to do a bit more shopping, which meant a trip to the Ducati store to admire the bikes and buy a jumper.
This afternoon we had a tour to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and the Church of St Peter in Chains, where Michelangelo's statue of Moses is located. The Colosseum was amazing - and our guide was a (now retired) former director of archaeology for the city, so he provided a wonderful insight into the history of the site.
Our last full day in Rome tomorrow, which will include a return visit to Vatican City to go through the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel.
